It was a beautiful sunny day. I had a short hike around Chiesa di Santa Maddalena in Val di Funes. It was quiet and warm, almost nobody around. The sky was clear, not a single cloud. I was taking photos for almost entire day and was pretty tired but when I got to that place, I felt refreshed - the view was amazing.

I went out last night to try and capture red sprites above a large thunderstorm in the Czech Republic, but sadly without luck.
Instead I got a decent picture of the milky way above the (light polluted) Bavarian countryside.

Today: during #hedgewatch in the #Alps near the #Aletsch #glacier we found these glacial #striations. The scratches are probably from the #LittleIceAge .The glacier was much thicker. They are cut in by #rocks at the bottom of the glacier.
