A drive through the vast emptiness of the Raton-Clayton volcanic field, Sept 2024, Colfax County, New Mexico, USA. We encountered only one other vehicle in 42 miles - a ranch pickup literally stopped in the middle of the road, straddling the center line, with its two occupants working just outside the truck. Aprilwetter bis in den Mai: Sonne, Schauer und Temperaturachterbahn

Die Großwetterlage stellt sich vor und über Ostern in einer gradientenschwachen Luftmasse gleich zwei Mal um. Hatten die Vorhersagemodelle in den vergangenen Tagen immer wieder unwetterartige Regensummen bis in den Mai hinein berechnet, gibt es heute eine Kehrtwende, was zugleich die Unsicherheiten der vergangenen Tage ausräumt.
