New Research Bolsters Freaky Theory That #Earth Sits in a Giant Cosmic Void
This theory could finally solve one of the biggest mysteries in #cosmology.
The fact is, #space is likely peppered with bubbles of relative emptiness, and some #astronomers believe we’re sitting inside of one. A growing body of evidence suggests that our entire #MilkyWay #galaxy is located within an enormous cosmic void.

🇬🇧 **English version:**
The Moléson (2002m) is one of the most iconic peaks in French-speaking Switzerland.
Located in the Fribourg Prealps, it's renowned for the magnificent view it offers of the Bernese Alps, Lake Leman, and the Swiss plateau. The legend says one can see their home form the Moléson.
I've had the opportunity to spend several nights there as part of the "Fortnight of stars", organized every year around the peak of the Perseids meteor shower. Amateur astronomers bring with their equipment, and we share our passion with the public who make the journey for the event.
It's also a wonderful opportunity to meet and reconnect with fellow enthusiasts!
After the evening session, we take the cable car down and can admire the mountain from below. Here it is, topped by the Milky Way.

Eunha -- Milky Way
youtu.be/BBvpRYpFjak?si=grlaZu

"Milky Way" is one of three solo tracks to appear on the recently released VIVIZ album "A Montage of ()". Eunha shares credits for both lyrics and composition; I assume that she is saying something about her part in the song's creation during the talk sections of this video.

Compared to the album track, this "Begin Again - Open Mic" version is pared back somewhat instrumentally, which focuses more attention on Eunha's singing. Her voice charms me; it combines the cute and the sexy. I know I'm not alone in finding her vocals appealing, but I also suspect that this appeal is not universal.

Fireflies, Meteors, and Milky Way

Taken on July 29 and July 30, a registered and stacked series of exposures creates this dreamlike view of a northern summer night. Multiple firefly flashes streak across the foreground as the luminous Milky Way arcs above the horizon in the Sierra de Órganos national park of central #Mexico.
