Today I learned how to quickly make some dowel using a power drill and a disk sander, thanks to my workshop-mates, after I made the wrong hole and needed to plug it with the same wood.

I’m holding in my hand a bit of wood that is cylindrical at the end, tapering down from a winder middle and has a narrow bit at the the other end, which I’m holding. Behind it you can see a power drill and a disk sander.
