Really enjoyed listening to this podcast conversation: @tomski, Deborah El-Sayed, and Matthew Taylor on how integrated care boards can capitalise on the digital revolution

@mattedgar @tomski I don't think I much tune to the "real clarity about outcome" thing.
Every deliverer wants something clear they can deliver. Of course - happy days. But in complexity, I’m thinking outcomes are mythical creatures.
Perhaps better to think I terms of nurturing a continuing conversation about what everyone needs?
Which, obviously, is bleedin' awkward for deliverers… with budgets and such
@markfoden @tomski Stay tuned for my conference talk 'Outcome-oriented service design in the public sector: easy to say, harder to do'
@mattedgar @tomski Ha! I shall!
@markfoden @mattedgar It's demanding the continued conversation using the language of outcomes, to slowly build more alignment around what is success. Helping Trust/ICS boards to question their and their teams' untested assumptions about solutions. Change the language used in the conservation at the board and you give everyone more space.
@soph_weston here's something you might find interesting and useful public sector folks to follow too
