Simulations get me every time. I just go in and want to have a good time fiddling with physics. BOOM. Four hours later and I'm still not happy how the simulation turned out. But I guess it's also going somewhere now.

I'm calling this part of this side project done. The rendering also looks good, but I don't want to spoil too much already.
For the out part I want to do either some anti gravity thing, cloth simulation, or both!

This may be a dumb question, but I'm still looking for ways to use #blender as an #adobe #aftereffects replacement, however I'm always frustrated with how overly complicated it is to do things like keyframing the opacity, as you'd do for 2.5 animation of text and images.
Also quick, viewport masking of image planes without the complication of going into the compositor.
Is anyone aware of any addons that could do this?
