Oh, now what‽
The pre-assessment nurse was worried about something during my prodding and poking last Friday. She’s been on at me to see if my GP has decided what to do.
My GP hasn’t even looked at it yet.
Any long delay might mean my elective procedure - booked for first thing this coming Saturday - might be delayed.
I don’t want that. I am now angry and stressed.

A GP has now looked at it, and referred it up the chain.
I guess I have to wait for whatever decision comes back.
I have retired to my couch for the remainder of the afternoon.
@snaptophobic Argh that seems like a frustratingly familiar case of NHS left hand not speaking to NHS right hand. So stressful.
@snaptophobic sigh, I love it when bureaucratic dysfunction means the patient has to take responsibility for chasing progress.
