Council tax bill arrives.

Still has Best Beloved's name on it, so full amount due. I thought I’d sorted that already.
Half an hour on hold, and now it’s sort of sorted.
Seems I have to apply for the single occupancy discount. What a palaver that was, as the council uses the same form for applying for housing benefits.

@snaptophobic I had to sort out council tax for the first time ever last year and it had me baffled for a bit. I still argue that the single occupancy discount should be 50% given the rate is based on two people in a house!
