Right. Planning ahead, when I'm in Sydney, where do I go for a decent steak?
This is important information.
Doesn't need to be posh. Just somewhere that does excellent meat. #australia #sydney
@garius Squires Loft is kind of a chain but they are a steakhouse and tend to be consistently good at chargrilling meat. I go to one of their Melb restaurants regularly and they're consistently good.
@garius as a country that grows a lot of good beef, you'll find local pubs will often do a very good steak. Angus is extremely popular and also good, and an Angus porterhouse is a very solid choice. Sorry I can't be more helpful, I'm based in Melbourne and currently am in Perth (WA).
@garius also most decent pubs to be honest. We're quite carnivore here...
@garius if you want it by the water, 6Head is good. If you need it closer to CBD, Rockpool works. If you're having a business lunch, Kingsleys on King St. And I hear good things about Bistecca, though I've never been. If you want a non steak option too, Cafe Sydney. And definitely have a drink at Opera Bar for the view. Enjoy!
