I rarely make photos when I am on holiday with Emma, I find it hard to concentrate on what is happening around me. But London is so packed with people, packed with life and energy it is hard not to make photos.

These are from the only sunny day of our long weekend break last week.

A man sits outside a cafe reading a newspaper. He wears a shirt and casual jacket. A tie hangs half knotted from his neck. The man's hands are in the process of tying the tie. The tie is very colourful with a blue background and yellow, almost cartoon like, squares. He is an older man although not of late age. His hair is thinning to the point of baldness.
A man, dressed for sports or keeping fit, pushes a tree. He is probably just stretching after his morning work-out but it looks like he is pushing the tree to keep it upright. The tree is in a park and there are people in the background ignoring him. He is red faced and a bit sweaty.
