Does anybody know of a Fediverse instance that supports long-form blogging with images, accepts new members, and is not limited in content to technology?

I considered, but when I try to sign up it asks for a credit card to confirm identity. While I understand the necessity for this step esp. nowadays, I find this particular ask a bit much. (To be clear, not planning anything shady, just being defensive with sharing personal data.)
Right now I'm not sure whether this is going to be a one-off thing or something lasting. When/if I'm committed to long-term adventures I would definitely give Ghost a try.
