In side project news, Groupthink (the GitHub-based voting system that powers the OpenPolitics Manifesto) now has the ability for repo admins to manually grant voting rights (with a nice audit trail), which means it can support a whole load of other use cases. https://github.com/openpolitics/groupthink
@michaelgraaf adding gitlab support (inc self-hosted) is definitely on the roadmap - I've been trying to split out the github specific code into decoupled concerns to make it easier...
