The two big old parties (plus UKIP) being hammered at the polls over Brexit is the best political news I've heard in years: More votes to Greens, Independents and Lib Dems. Yay!

So far, Labour, in particular, have taken a massive hit. Tories, all things considered, have not suffered as badly as I expected. UKIP sans Farage looks like a busted flush. Those last two points may be connected.

LibDems seem to be the main beneficiaries.

As the two main parties have suffered, the prospect of a General Election has receded.

Open social media for the UK
