Why do people answer Amazon product questions if they don’t know the answer? Do they imagjne that they were the only ones asked? It must be an awfully unclear UI if that the case.

Have wondered the same, but it does keep me laughing. I assume they receive an email and think it's personal.

@6gain I love the ones that just say “I don’t know, I bought it for someone else”.

@6gain @floppy I've received a couple of the emails asking questions from Amazon and it would be easy to not know your answer will be going public. What's worse is Amazon haven't bothered putting in a basic filter for the common "I don't know" replies. Hell, they could run it through their own Mechanical Turk service for filtering

Open social media for the UK
