I'm basically at the point where I'm throwing my hands up in the air and shouting "what the fuck are we doing here people" because what the actual fuck are we doing here, how is any of anything the political class is doing actually helpful to anyone other than really rich people, it's just so upsetting

In the U.S. Our democratic republic constitution is at war with our unbalanced capitalistic economic system.
Written over 200 years ago , the constitution is now being shred by opportunistic forces using technology and communication to pierce freedom weakness seams that the founders did not anticipate or imagine.
Through the struggles of our times the bedrock democratic ideal behind that document can only be saved by the people of this country themselves.

The Founders specifically warned about the ascension of a man with “talents for low intrigue, and the little arts of popularity” and the dangers of political parties weakening the role of government. See, Federalist No. 68 and George Washington’s farewell address among many many other examples. The problem isnt the Constitution. Its how it is being administered.

@CatherineFlick you are not alone. Shut it down, take a media break. If you miss something, there are summary pages going up daily. They are fucking with the economy now and everyone hates that because we are capitalists. More of us and those who voted for this are getting organized every day. Hang in there, take care of yourself first, you are enough.
