Counteracting the fact that I'm test driving an EV this weekend by booking a green lane tour in my diesel V6 chungus SUV.
I am nothing if not a bag of contradictions…
The new Renault 5 was utterly lovely to drive, but just wasn’t quite the one for me.
The Cupra Born I test drove afterwards, however, is coming home with me later today in place of the little red pocket rocket.

(it's the big battery V3 one, 2022 model, pretty much every option ticked, and not far off 50% depreciation)
@matstace Right, that last part... I'm looking for how much mine can be had now used, and it is sitting darn close to 50%. 2023 model! Good thing I was planning to keeping it for long, because that depreciation would kill any petrol savings.
