@Stubbs I think legitimate interest *should* be a pretty high bar, I don't think they ought to get away with ad visibility under that, but OTOH, it's Amazon, they have all the lawyers. Meh.

@Floppy That's kind of my beef with GDPR, it's toothless. All it does is cause users inconvenience and doesn't effect the data harvestors at all, they're free to carry on just by waving their legitimate interest card.
