In side project news, Groupthink (the GitHub-based voting system that powers the OpenPolitics Manifesto) now has the ability for repo admins to manually grant voting rights (with a nice audit trail), which means it can support a whole load of other use cases.

@Floppy Cool but now that GH has been bought by a transnational maybe migrate the project to GitLab?

@michaelgraaf adding gitlab support (inc self-hosted) is definitely on the roadmap - I've been trying to split out the github specific code into decoupled concerns to make it easier...

Open social media for the UK

A social media community hosted in the UK; part of the Mastodon/ActivityPub federated social network, which allows you to follow users on other communities. It's a bit like Twitter but without a single company in control.
