With a long past of various fysicsl deficits and downfalls since young years, and continued at adult era, there was always a spirit to get back. To nevertheless find a forgotten body after Covid times, when bad habits of wrong nutrition and perhaps too common use of alcohol had created the typical body of a 50+ guy who thinks it's due to age. . This one is in good condition, having been renovated at some time in the not-distant past and maintained in good order.That is the 1250m of kunanyi-Mt Wellington off in the distance with the 120m high cliffline of the Organ Pipes visible, a wall of vertical dolerite oozed out of the earth somewhere in deep time. Battery Point is an early Hobart locale on the banks of the Derwent. For those who read stories of a city’s history in its buildings, who discern tales of wealth and decline, industrial change and aspiration in the its architectural styles, Battery Point offers an eclectic collection spanning the late Nineteenth Century through Art Deco to Modernism.
