But it sent me looking at Ron Howard's directing credits which has genuinely surprised me. </p><p>I guess I first became aware of his directing with Apollo 13, so I assumed that was his first director gig. I've just learned that prior to that, films he directed that I've seen are:</p><p>- Splash<br>- Coccoon<br>- Willow<br>- Parenthood<br>- Backdraft<br>- Far &amp; Away</p><p>And I had no idea they were his movies.</p>
