Our city has ~30,000 people who work for Stelco and they are in the direct line of sight for these tariffs. The city will be devastated if it goes on too long. <br>The CEO for Cleveland-Cliff has toed the line and said it will be good for steel in North America. </p><p>Tough for <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Canada" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Canada</span></a> and <a href="https://mastodonapp.uk/tags/Stelco" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Stelco</span></a>. Over the last few years, the government and company have invested millions on moving to low carbon, non-coal heat generation , to reduce the climate impact. </p><p>We'll be fine.
