I was so distracted by the £ that I didn't notice that it's not a Star of David, but what I have now learned is the Messianic Star.

@wjt outside of the Pound sign as a religious symbol, the Star of David with a cross inside is Messianic Judaism, which is an offshoot of US Evangelical Christians
