@thran i'll get my 4:3 screen ready. This looks promising.
@thran i wish. Unfortunately, all I have left is the omnipresent 19" 5:4 LCD screen at 1280x1024. Thankfully, the RTX cards have a lot of scaling and aspect ratio control tricks that let me output 1280x960 with two black borders (pictured), and unstretched 1024x768 with a black frame.
I have attempted to get a CRT, but most of them were dead, and they take too much space in a 60cm depth desk that does not have a keyboard tray anymore.

@lonelyautomata I also hate scaling, letterbox views ftw.
Curiously I've a similar Dell LCD, it pairs up well with my Performa 6200:
