@stevenfeldman I hold my nose tighter, knowing the only way I'll get to see Newcastle compete is by ignoring the stink and 'accepting' that this is how the game is now, and that NUFC has a fighting chance thanks to its own barrel of cash...

@samuraipizzarob @stevenfeldman But it's pretty to hard to take: Sheppherd > Ashley > KSA is rather out of the frying pan into the deep fryer into the furnace. OK, so our owners no longer seem to hate us, but nor are they overly fond of journalists.
@tomchadwin @stevenfeldman Yeah it's been 'a ride' for Newcastle fans since those pseudo-highs of the mid-90s...on the pitch, yes it's undoubtedly more entertaining to watch this season. Off it? That's a much tougher pill to swallow, especially for fans who had no real say in who owned/owns the club (albeit a fair number were just happy to see the back of Ashley at any cost...)

@stevenfeldman Generalizing opinion of the fans, probably true. As for me, not so much "hate" as "am embarrassed by", or even "am ashamed of".
