Here are two hex cartograms of existing UK constituencies (left) and the new ones (right) showing electorate. You can see how each of the national Boundary Commissions have tried to make constituencies more equal than they have been. constituencies.open-innovation

A hex cartogram of existing UK constituencies coloured by electorate as of December 2022. The southern part of England has larger constituencies, Wales has much smaller ones than average.
A hex cartogram of electorates for the new 2023 UK constituencies. The values are much more similar across the whole of the UK except for the island constituencies of the Isle of Wight, Ynys Môn, Na h-Eileanan an Iar, and Orkney and Shetland.
