Time to think about #AdventOfCode! A 2-part coding puzzle every day until Xmas.
Might this be the year I get anywhere near collecting all 50 stars? ️
️
If you're interested, have a look at some previous puzzles, pick a programming language, join in!
Puzzles range from easy and fun, to absolutely fiendish.

Important #AdventOfCode prep: review previous years' excuses, vow to avoid them
Those excuses in full:
- I changed to an M1 Mac, so new nothing worked on it, took ages to set up (1st world problems right)
- just as the challenges hit some fiendish puzzle that needed ancient Chinese maths theorems
- just as work got super busy
- oh had builders in too!
("vow to avoid them" is an effective risk management strategy, right?)

IT'S READY
@neil_vass also adding for myself vow to avoid breaking the promise to myself to pick back up and continue through the year...
@manishlad NICE, that's a good one!
I'm tempted to look at the ones I didn't finish last year, but I spent hours trying to work out some 3D transformations thing and was getting nowhere near cracking it.
Not sure I should dig out my notes and start on that one again...
