I found a tool that generates images of the maps in Doom 1/2 WADS (wad2image).

So here's some images from a recent Doom map called "Jack Builds A Techbase".

Map 31 from a Doom WAD called Jack Builds A Tech Base. There's a large semi-circular area connected to fairly organic looking tunnels. The devs left a message in the map: "Blokmap sucx. And so do cyberdemons. Seriously what as ID thinking giving certain enemies such wide hitboxes when the collision algorithms clearly break at these sizes? I blame Romero"
