@kevie@mastodon.me.ukGood day all #tzag at home with a cup of tea after a mad afternoon. My hand got squashed between the anvil and a centre lathe, ended up in A+E for an x-ray. It turns out that the bone is intact but I have some muscle and tendon damage. Thankfully it isn't broken but my hand is really sore 
Ouch. Get well soon. 
@morph thanks mate. I'm happy that it's my left hand so I can do most things (although driving home with one hand in the snow was tricky 
). As long as I can get on top of the pain then I shall be back at work tomorrow

@kevie That sounds nasty. I assume that you're going to have to take it easy for a bit and I hope your hand makes a full recovery.
@Paul it's not pleasant. I'm most definitely taking it easy. I'll see how I feel tomorrow: if I'm in pain I'm not going in. Either way I'm having a day off the tools tomorrow (and the rest of the weekend)
