We finished filming for another season this week. After such a long time, it feels like a natural part of the year's turning - which of course it isn't. Nothing in life stays the same - not even in the poundshop Narnia of telly ;-)
One thing I've really enjoyed watching over the years is the addition of bits of set in the back lots; re-imagining East End streets long gone.
All drama is costume drama, because all drama is historical. 'Contemporary' is just the youngest past we reconstruct.
