I am wondering about Bluesky , Mastodon and Threads. After Mastodon I am now also trying Bluesky which "feels" nice , also the atmosphere is positive. But on a technical level I think Bluesky may be a dead end. When threads gets serious with federating/connecting to the Fediverse, together with Mastodon, Fediverse/activitypub will have more mass. Bluesky has chosen a different protocol sadly.
Any thoughts or opinions?

@ErikJonker The meta/facebook aspect of threads guarantees I will never have a threads account and will probably never be on a mastodon instance that federates to threads.
@housedogpartyfavor @ErikJonker A lot of #fediverse instances I know have already excluded Meta. Most instances actually sent out a survey to find out what people wanted and in basically all cases people preferred to not federated with Threads.
