@neil with regard to WhatsApp, I think that people genuinely use it without thinking. It’s become a standard and also a standard that works across different organisations. Sure Parliament could provide a secure app but then how do you contact your non parliamentary colleagues. Your party could provide an app but then how do you contact your colleagues in other parties.

There is user experience benefit in everything being in one place.
