On this #BlackFriday, one day after we mark the 26th anniversary of the passing of the great Christopher Wallace (bka Biggie Smalls), an artist I never got to see live and photograph, I thought I'd dig out an old homage from 2011. It's a self-portrait taken, edited, and styled to resemble Biggie's appearance in the classic video for the remix of Craig Mack's "Flava In Ya Ear", one of my favourites. RIP to both men.
great homage! now i gotta give "flava in ya ear" a proper midnight rinse. which will surely lead me to pissing off my upstairs neighbor with rampage "wild for the night". then who knows! what a wicked web you've helped me spin, sir.
