I'm not clear what is the argument they are trying to advance.
Is the argument that fewer people should be able to watch the games of the clubs that people have supported for 130+ years?
The people created the clubs, not TV.
It's not piracy, it's culture. Our culture. Which they already profit from substantially.
I'm not sure how deprivation of the people helps their argument.
@vruz indeed. There was football before Sky TV and there's a ton of football that survives quite happily without TV company input at all.
