@30yrdscreamer I'm sad about both, but can't deny that it makes a certain amount of sense given their ages.
Yet I think Matip has been first-choice (alongside VVD) this season — when fit.

on both. I'll miss Matip's Giraffe Leg runs out from defence though - a wonderful sight 
@30yrdscreamer @mike those runs always looked unsteady, but they caused so many problems for teams that were forced to break their shape in order to ward him off. His give and go goal against Leeds was so great.

@mike good call - he had a bit of Hansen about him for sure.
