It was sunny first thing this morning so I went out for a ride on my bicycle. I decided I needed to do some hills. I hate hills (being from the Canadian Prairies 😉) but Sussex is not the flattest part of the UK by any stretch of the imagination. I need to learn not to let hills put me off going for a ride.

I went through Tilgate Forest to a new estate being built just outside Crawley next to Pease Pottage. It was a lovely ride although shorter than usual. Good workout nonetheless and a great way to start a day. 🙂

Bit of a long shot but any Fedi peeps in/near Brighton who'd be interested in seeing a play for cheap tonight?

The play is The Heresy of Love by Helen Edmundson, about Mexican author Juana de la Cruz and is a mix of comedy and tragedy.

Fair few tickets left for tonight but most of the rest of the run is already sold out.

@SussexBylines The problem with this type of reorganisation is that it duplicates many services. Instead of a cake with several layers it becomes a cake in many slices. Better to create a Unitary across the whole of Sussex, eliminate the duplication and merge the services: Education, Social Care, Waste recycling, Libraries, Transport etc. #Unitary #EastSussex #WestSussex

Last week at KubeCon, brunching with friends and hanging out in cafés during downtime, had reminded me that getting out of the house is good occasionally.

Anyone know if there’s good coworking spaces in #Horsham, #WestSussex? Or if I should just go to a café with my laptop for a morning a week or something?

The weather’s getting nicer, the walk to town will do me good, and I like the background noise ambiance.
