Guess who nailed her 25km walk on Saturday?!
I'm feeling so much more confident about the 100km walk now. It will be hard but I can see how we can get from rest stop to rest stop and daisy chain our way to the finish line.

After yesterday's rain-out, today's 13.8km/8.5mi walk took place with the temp and the dew point at the same 22C/72F and an obnoxious 97% humidity. It was a pretty quick 9'03" per km with a barely light exercise value of 70% (106 BPM).
It was good, maybe I should take a day off more than once every six weeks.

Yesterday's walk at the Coast.
It's now 6am and the Kookaburra Chorus has begun in the trees below us (we're on a hill).
Today I walked across the causeway to Lindisfarne with the Rothbury walking group. I'd never done this before, but it was actually easy walking. Barefoot is best, the water and sand are warm when it's sunny. Check the tide tables beforehand if you try this
Today's walk was rained out.
I am not bummed out about this.
#Walking in the mature #GartlyMoor forest near #Huntly where there are marvellous open views from the heathery summit of #WishachHill …

I finally took a bit of time to write up how to use the Sidewalks plugin in JOSM to add data into OpenStreetMap. It takes a lot of the hassle out of this super important task and I hope folks find it useful.

13.6km/8.4mi for today's walk that took 9'54" per km with a restingly light exercise value of 62% (93 BPM). If I was going any slower, I would be going backwards and it wouldn't be exercise.
It was 23C/75F with a dew point of 22C/71F and 87% humidity.
I'm beginning to wonder how much longer the center can hold.
I worked so hard last week until Wednesday. I slept a lot on Thursday, and I played hard on Friday through Sunday. I am very tired and don’t want to do much but I have another deadline next Monday
Time to sleep first and deal with reality tomorrow
A week of solitary work on North Manitou Island wraps up. A storm delays the boat, so it continues for now. Damp, thundershaken, sipping tea.
I enjoyed this scramble so much I decided to write a blog post

Today's 13.6km/8.4mi was a not very exciting start to the new week. 9'44" per km generating a restingly light 63% exercise value at 95 BPM.
22C/72F with a dew point of 20C/68F and 87 humidity.
Just plugging away.
Woke up early so went for a 6 a.m. walk across the heath before it got too hot. The morning mist quickly evaporated and by 7 I was carrying the outer layer I’d needed an hour earlier. The heather is blooming lovely, I heard a Woodpecker, and saw some Great Tits <fnarr, fnarr>
