@bughunter wow, I am an absolute doofus - I realized now that I was entering the WRONG information for the boot order while using efibootmgr -n command.
It wasn't the usb stick - it was me 
…not knowing what I am doing in #linux, opens up unlimited chances for me mess things up… I had it working and then I failed to get #timeshift up and running… about to do the 3rd clean install…
btw how do I get an #appimage added to the panel with the other apps?

I keep forgetting to thread my #ClimateChange posts because I thought I'd lost the "save drafts" functionality in the #IceCubes #app.
I just realized that was pure #UserError and that drafts still do save correctly and can be found by clicking the file box icon in the app's toolbar (screenshot attached)

Arthur I still haven't worked out how to link to 'bird site' accounts from #mastodon correctly. #fail #usererror
