Luke in Windsor<p>I’d rather call it “a promise of rain” than “dreary” this Monday morning. I’ve got a free day with nothing scheduled and I’m getting paid. I shall drink coffee and I really should wind the clock today. <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Leamington" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leamington</span></a> <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/SunParlourOfCanada" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SunParlourOfCanada</span></a></p>
CBC Windsor<p>ERCA seeks long term solution for invasive aquatic plant<br>The Essex Region Conservation Authority says a long term plan is needed to deal with hydrilla. The invasive plant's appearance in Leamington's Hillman Marsh is a first in Canada. Work has already begun to try and eradicate it but officials say more needs to be done.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.hongkongers.net/tags/plant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>plant</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.hongkongers.net/tags/environment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>environment</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.hongkongers.net/tags/conservation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>conservation</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.hongkongers.net/tags/Leamington" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leamington</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.hongkongers.net/tags/Canada" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Canada</span></a> <br><a href="https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/9.6805757?cmp=rss" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">cbc.ca/player/play/9.6805757?c</span><span class="invisible">mp=rss</span></a></p>
Luke in Windsor<p>We’re home in south Windsor after spending the week in our hometown, <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Leamington" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leamington</span></a> . Keeping an eye on the Judy’s mum who was also one of my schoolteachers. Was fun biking around the spots I played as a child and seeing the high school I went to that seemed to be bigger than me, condemned, boarded up and partially deconstructed. Outlived, outlasted and outshone.</p>

BicycleBen<p>Isn't it worth being clearer that people walking, wheeling, and cycling straight over have priority over those turning into/out of side roads generally, not just those marked as such? Simon Detheridge :snorlax:<p>I've lived in <a href="https://social.sd.ai/tags/Leamington" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Leamington</span></a> for 30 years and this shop has been here for as long as I can remember.</p><p>There's a weird local tradition that everyone just goes around acting like it's normal to have a shop specialising in year-round-fireworks and upholstery foam, and never mentioning it.</p>
