Hi! Here's a quick illustration I've done for a friend who wanted to surprise their partner with a voucher for a ride on a historic tractor.
I think this is my first time ever drawing a beaver ^__^

@amoroso
Thank you for this tip,
I use #screenShot all the time to help folks switch off of the old legacy OS and often need to highlite the salient parts of a screen shot.
Its has always been a huge overkill to bring up #inkscape or #gimp just to draw a red circle around something.
#flameshot is the right tool for the job.
Long live #FLOSS and #FOSS and our ability to use free softwarer.
Reinterpreting some Conver-style #tarot cards in #svg using @velvetyne 's great #Basteleur font, #inkscape, #imagemagick and some #bash scripts!

Wicked Wonderful Wordies - #wordplay #wordies #idiom
Happy weekend from here, #puzzle fans!
Idioms or common phrases (American/English) are represented by the position, shape or arrangement of words in or around the puzzle frame.
Can you figure out this week's wordie? It would be wicked wonderful if you can.
Please use CW to submit your answers, thanks. Give everybody the chance to guess.
Hint: loose ends

#IronArtist commission for corvarrow on tumblr! I don't know if an automaton needs to preen, but I thought it was a fun idea.

Apparently we need a sign. Inkscape to the rescue.
Dog and camera are from some public domain SVGs I found, the rest is easy. Supposedly they have to be those colours
I had to search where to enable grid snapping, because the button is in an obvious location that was not obvious.
Here's how my life works now.
I don't trust the Washington Post but I trust @Nonilex.
I don't trust the New York Times but I trust @GottaLaff.
I think about my recent experiences with #Debian and #Inkscape and #LibreOffice and I realize that it's all connected to one overwhelming personal truth:
I trust the #Fediverse.
I couldn't find a good pre-prepared gradient interpolation test which would obviously show the difference between RGB and CMYK interpolation. A lot of ranges look quite similar.
So I did an 5^^8 search for the best range and this one is the top diff with the greatest difference between one of the two colours.
{0.0, 0.75, 0.75, 0.75} to {0.75, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0};
DSEG is a family of free (and open-source) fonts of 7- and 14- segment displays. These allow for designing gorgeous digital displays!
Dann in
#PrusaSlicer importieren, skalieren und 1.5mm dick drucken, fertig
A little art style experiment I did. Not sure how to feel about it though (it isn't my usual style), but I felt like it was worth to share anyway
So how do you export PDFs from #Inkscape?
Ha ha, just kidding; everyone knows that's a proprietary format.
*wipes away tears of laughter*
But seriously...
