Johan<p>Yes! A new personal best at 10k. I started way back (section H) so I had to overtake a lot of people. It was warm and windy but luckily I could keep up a pace of around 5' /km. And the final 2 k it's all or nothing 😅. Lots of people along the course, shouting encouraging stuff. Marc Thomas<p>Yesterday I ran my 2nd 5k event of the year and shaved off over another minute on my time. The course was a bit short at 2.96 miles according to my Garmin and several other runners with their watches confirmed, so I had to estimate my actual 5k time which I estimate would have been about 25:04. Down from 26:17 a month ago. </p><p>8:04 average pace, down from 8:30 last month. </p><p>2nd in my age group and 10th overall. 68 total entrants. </p><p>Tried out a new pizza place after the race to celebrate the good results. Steve's Pizza in Austin Minnesota. One of the better pizza places I've found in the region. Will be returning there in the future for sure. </p><p>This concluded an 8 week duathlon training plan I did through TrainingPeaks to get back into racing. Raederle<p>I don’t usually run on Friday evening. At the end of the work week, I just want to relax but weather was gorgeous, sun peeking through the clouds. I had the trail to myself save a cardinal, squirrel, &amp; 2 turkeys. </p><p>I’m struggling with consistency after too much time not <a href="https://masto.nu/tags/Running" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Running</span></a>.
