Folks it is now ONE HOUR until #MONSTERDON the weekly monster movie watch party. If you don't want to see a bunch of goofy toots about a monster movie, now's a good time to set up a hashtag filter.

If you'd like to join in, this week's movie is THE ANGRY RED PLANET (1959), an Ib Melchior project in which astronauts get eaten by Martian wildlife. Fun!

You can watch it on Tubi with ads: tubitv.com/movies/658204/the-a

Or download from Archive.org over here: archive.org/details/the_angry_

Just hit play at the top of the hour and toot along! See you there ^^

I firmly believe "Director's Cut" only very rarely means, "this is the movie the way the director envisioned it, but they had to make it shorter for The Studio. Now you can see the real art unimpeded by capitalism." Almost always it's the exact opposite, "The Studio would like to milk this succesful film a bit more so they have added scraps of footage that were rightly thrown away. Please buy the Director's Cut, which is an artless version ruined for and by capitalism."
