@octade
Interesting array of questions.
Whereas the #Christian perspective has been excellently summed up by the Natural Intelligence, NI, Daniel 😉
@ossobuffo,
I have heard several times that #Jesus is seen as a prophet in the other #Abrahamaic religions, #Judaism and #Islam, it would be interesting to hear a similarly perspective from their side on your questions.

I really like the song "Rise and Shine" (aka "God said to Noah" aka "Arky Arky") but I'm not super keen on the lyrics. (Even back when I was a nominally #christian child the song seemed cheerful in a tone-deaf-to-genocide way)

So I started thinking about how to replace the lyrics:

The Lord said to Noah:
There's gonna be a floody, floody
The Lord said to Noah:
There's gonna be a floody, floody
Get those children
out of the muddy, muddy
Children of the Lord

That feels like long line/long line/short line/short line/long line, kind of a like a limerick

And it totally works with only a tiny bit of cheating!

There was a young lady named Bright-Bright-Bright-Bright
Whose speed was far faster than light-light-light-light
She set out one day
In a rel'tive way
And returned on the previous night

The man who oversees the nation’s military reposted a video about a #Christian #nationalist church
that included various pastors saying #women should no longer be allowed to #vote.
The extraordinary repost on X from Defense Secretary #Pete #Hegseth,
illustrates his deep and personal connection to a Christian nationalist pastor with extreme views on the role of religion and women.

In the post, Hegseth commented on an almost seven-minute-long report by CNN examining #Doug #Wilson, cofounder of the "Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches", or #CREC.
The report featured a pastor from Wilson’s church
💥advocating the repeal of women’s right to vote from the Constitution,
and another pastor saying that in his ideal world,
people would vote as households.
It also featured a female congregant saying that she submits to her husband
