Started (and finished) #reading Strange Houses last night - creepy, but also very short, without much plot, zero character development, etc. I kept expecting more. 3/5 stars from me. It almost read like a play, which might have been the point. It was OK, but I don't think I'll continue on.

Resuming - Girt, The Unauthorised History of Australia by David Hunt

Yeah, I have trouble putting books down once I start. I forgot I get like that.

Neon Riders was a lighter, easier read than most of my recent books. Good story that kept me hooked nearly all the way to the end. Lost momentim in the wrap up. Bonus points for the author being on mastodon.

I need to finally finish Girt now. It's been sitting abandoned on my bedside table for months, making me feel guilty.

This is a guide/workbook that helps folks cope with the daily problems and micro-aggressions people are facing. From the Ross Center, it describes the book as offering inspiration, encouragement, and guidance for young people who face challenges simply because of who they are. Hey, us dusties need help too!

Reading update:
Just finished - The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu.
Up next - Neon Riders by A.E. Marling.

The Three-Body Problem was an interesting one. I liked the narrative style and the way the mystery unfolded, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting and in the end the subject matter wasn't to my taste. I've popped the next two books on the wishlist just in case but odds are I won't get to them.

I think I saw Neon Riders recommended by someone on here. Solarpunk might be more up my alley.
