The decision cleared the way for teams put in place this year by #Musk to reclaim “high-level IT access” to govt databases, Judge Julius Richardson wrote, over the objections of a number of #labor #unions who had sued, arguing the move violated federal #privacy laws.

…Richardson said the…case mirrored those in a lawsuit involving #data that #SCOTUS weighed as an #emergency application….In that case, SCOTUS…allowed #DOGE to continue sifting through the records “in order…to do their work.”

"[Starbucks] is estimated to have spent some $240 million on union busting. It’s even more appalling given that the new CEO, since starting in September, has been paid approximately $96 million and commutes to work from Southern California to Seattle on a company jet. He’s being paid 10,000 times what the average worker is making: around $30,000 a year for a barista."

"Government control inevitably follows government privilege, and, as in the Fascist or Communist countries, privileged unionism has become in effect a powerful arm of the State apparatus for controlling the labor force and the economic system as a whole. Rather than representing their members, union leaders have been coopted into the power elite, there to serve as transmission belts for keeping the workers under the control of the various governmental “guidelines”" — Murray N. Rothbard, Left and Right.

"The issue is not the right to form associations. It is whether or not any association of private citizens should be granted the privilege of resorting with impunity to violent action. It is the same problem that relates to the activities of the Ku Klux Klan." — Ludwig von Mises, Human Action.

Frankly, the state is a parasite, and the trade #unions are parasites too. In this case, the parasites, the unions, are parasitizing on the parasite - the state, and all of them are parasitizing on the real producers, on the net taxpayers.

"The Department of Veterans Affairs announced Wednesday it was ending collective bargaining agreements with most federal unions -- a move that affects roughly 80% of its total workforce.
