David - Forking Mad<p>I wrote a poem five years ago, when my heart was aching from the loss of my dog. She was my shadow. I've never let anyone read it, but I've now put it on my blog. Time eventually heals, but I never forget her. After 18 months we felt ready to find a new four-legged companion and she's great.</p><p>I'm certainly not a poet and have never written one before.
