Went on a queer wildflower hike today — there was art involved. I had fun, and I’m glad I went.

Heute in den Voralpen auf einen
No-Name Gipfel gestiegen.

Nice walk with my son today. We did part of a pilgrim route which started at the Winchester Cathedral where we attended part of the service. We were surprised by heavy rain but had luckily just sought shelter in a church. We continued after the rain and had a lovely dry rest of the walk. Managed to do about 18.5km so not too shabby.

Alea the Black Cat was adamant I'd follow her on a hike. As usual we ended up meandering along the steep side of the old esker behind my house, and I'm pretty sure she wanted to show me something. But when we arrived at the spot it was empty. Still don't know what it was, and at this place - close to the bog and a possible old sacrficial site - it could be anything. We're safely back at home now, one tiny adventure richer.

Good day!
I was insanely productive yesterday. Rather than question it, I rolled with it.
Drafting creates a story that exists in the clouds. Dramatic, perhaps, but not always clear. Editing brings clarity, delivering a gentle breeze & a blue sky.
Be everwell.
First hike of the year while on on-call duty. As long as I stay in cell phone coverage and I'm in reasonable distance of a lasting power supply, I'm free to roam.
Went from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, which is approx an 1.5 hour hike, which therefore was within the limits. Was much warmer than expected, so with the sweating, it turned out to be sort of a training.
