More potatoes! This is just a small section of the potatoes in the planter where my monster plants are growing. I didn't have the energy to free more - they were so crammed in!
The capacity for plants to take sunlight and soil and create such large and wonderful things with them is astounding!

Ok an ethics / mores question for #gardening mastodon:
Is it acceptable to collect pieces of succulents that have fallen off plants onto the sidewalk to take home and propagate?
My poor lime tree! The wind has been so strong here that it split the lime's trunk. I've moved it back inside (which it hates) and splinted the trunk. Hopefully it'll recover but it won't be able to go back out for at least a year. 
The stem forming all those roots is a bit of sedum cutting broken off by Saga, the GSD. The thinner stem is a wind damaged veronica that I stuck in for the flower. It's not the first time I've rescued wind damaged veronica, but it is the first time I've had one start to form roots. I wonder if some hormone or other from the sedum has encouraged it along? I'll leave the 2 together for now, just in case. I wouldn't mind having another veronica!
Came across this corner plot by the roadside in #Sherborne, mainly of #hollyhocks. Presumably self seeded, a great array of pastel colours, mainly pink and yellow.

Was reminded of the time I had sunflowers suddenly arise on the edges of my garden.
We have chickens and the seed mixture we like to give them contains sunflower seeds. Given where they grew, my conclusion was that the chickens ate them and the seeds came out, uh, let’s say fertilized.
There’s a metaphor in there somewhere.
Not sure what this evergreen shrub is but I won’t be keeping it. It attracts only flies, greenbottles in particular. #gardening

A very happy Okra plant growing in a fabric bag on our deck garden. This is grown from seeds I saved last year! I love the very delicate light yellow color of the petals!

Also salad from the garden, but with tomatoes from the shop because ours did not make it outside.
This week, the red beans are gradually ripening and ready for harvest. We're also discovering more new insects. Could that one be some sort of leaf beetle? I haven’t been able to find any comparable pictures online.
