UBI is probably one of the single biggest policy changes that could really transform the world for the better, and it's crazy that despite overwhelming evidence showing its benefits, it still hasn't been implemented.

I think it's also really underappreciated how much it would make the arts more accessible too. British music was so good in the 90s because artists were able to survive on benefits till they started making money from their work. Portishead, arguably one of the defining alternative acts of the 90s, met during a scheme for unemployed people. Nowadays, three unemployed musicians would not have the ability to create an album and get it out there unless they were already wealthy.
