Can we bring distinct title bars back to desktop applications?

I don’t even care if you wanna hide the menu under a hamburger, I just want a title bar I can drag around and and resize. Something that clearly shows focus and keeps an app and all its bullshit contained within a clearly defined border.

Introducing the "Sound of Meditation" update with many new and improved interval bell sounds (including softer-sounding and wooden options) as well as five new soundscapes.

I really hope the new sounds will bring you lots of joy and enhance your meditation practice!

Also, I’d like to give a big shoutout to everyone who sent me suggestions for new sounds - thank you 🙏

Governments identify dozens of #Android #apps bundled with #spyware
#BadBazaar and #Moonshine, which have been previously analyzed by cybersecurity firms and digital rights nonprofit #CitizenLab, were used to target #Uyghurs, #Tibetans, and #Taiwanese communities. These two spywares hid inside legitimate-looking apps, acting essentially as “trojan” #malware, with #surveillance capabilities such as access the phone’s cameras, microphone, chats, photos, and location data.

New addition to my iPhone's home page after today's release with tons of updates: #TapestryApp from @Iconfactory

There are some folks, especially a group of lawyers, I used to follow on Twitter who moved to Bluesky. I never interacted with them, but I learned a lot by reading their posts. I also enjoyed reading posts from Darth, Jorts & Jean, and my brother.

But I didn't want to open a Bluesky account or even have the bridge enabled.

Now I've added their accounts to my Tapestry feed, and it's super easy to read their commentary. Also in my Tapestry feed: Metafilter posts, John Scalzi's Whatever blog, and more.

It's a pleasure to use — nice design! — and it comes from the great folks who made Twitterrific. iOS only (with Mac to come).
