For me Peloton <em>way</em> overestimates calorie burn. I had got a 90-day streak (and the badge) up to a couple of weeks ago, now that’s disappeared and there are some breaks in it. Hank G ☑️I'd heard stories about the <a href="https://friendica.myportal.social/search?tag=Peloton" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Peloton</span></a> app dying on external runs. My first run over one hour and it did just that. As much as I liked having all my workout data in that one place and the way they strike a balance in gamification of their goal challenges etc, I think I'm going to have to abandon using it for run/walk tracking. It was wonky in other ways too: heart rate connecting to Apple Watch quirks, distance quirks, UI not great. There is an app called RunGap that will allow me to extract the data from Apple Health if I go back to using Apple Fitness/Health for tracking. It seems to work pretty well and only costs $10 a year. Hopefully that fixes it.
